    Treat Rough Arm Bumps

Don't exfoliate rough arm bumps - it's keratosis pilaris

    Hello, beautiful people!

Those rough bumps on the back of your arms (“chicken skin”) aren’t just rough skin. It’s called keratosis pilaris. Heard me loud and clear on this one….you cannot scrub them away. Let go of the loofah!

“KP” is a common condition that appears on the arms. Your skin forms a rough pyramid right where the hair follicle emerges from the skin. Usually colorless, the rough bumps can appear red.

Aggressive physical exfoliation will make it worse. Rubbing and scrubbing upsets the skin and leads to worsening of the rough patches. Instead try a product with glycolic acid to gently dissolve away the rough bumps.
