Wash your face before and after your workout to remove impurities, sweat

Hello, beautiful people!

You probably already know you should wash your face after you workout. Sweat and bacteria on your face should be washed off as soon as possible to prevent irritation and breakouts.

But did you know washing your face before you workout is just as important? All that beautiful makeup needs to come off before your workout. When we exercise, our pores open to release sweat, heat and toxins. The last thing you want is for your makeup to seep down into your pores and cause acne and infections.

Even if you’re not a major makeup wearer, your skin produces natural oils that aren’t supposed to go back into the skin.

Next time you’re running to your favorite yoga class or trying to squeeze in a little gym time, be sure to spend a few moments cleansing your face before you work out.
